About TwinOxide® ?

The revolutionary TwinOxide® Chlorine Dioxide - is a completely different type of product compared to traditional and stabilized Chlorine Dioxide. TwinOxide® is a unique and advanced delivery system, providing 99.9x% pure chlorine dioxide solution in a 0.3% concentration without by-products. It is applied as a (drinking) water disinfectant.

Once added to a specific volume of water, TwinOxide® reacts to a +99.9% pure chlorine dioxide solution with a kinetic halftime as a biocide of 30 days. TwinOxide v/s Chlorine

Chlorine and chlorine type disinfectants (e.g. sodium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite etc) generate so called "free chlorine". This free chlorine, also known as hypochlorous acid, is the biocidal component that does the actual killing of bacteria. This free chlorine is released by chlorine and chlorine type disinfectants when applied in water.

TwinOxide works on the biocidal component chlorine dioxide. Although chlorine can be found in the name it is NOT a chlorine type of disinfectant. TwinOxide does not release free chlorine (hypochlorous acid) to provide biocidal function. When TwinOxide 0.3% solution is added applied the chlorine dioxide solution it selves does the biocidal kill of the full spectrum of bacteria, algea, funghi, protozoan, yeast, methanogens and viruses.

The precursors to generate TwinOxide chlorine dioxide solution are fully compliant with the European Standard EN12671 describing the stringent rules for purity and quality of chemicals used for drinking water disinfection.
